Badge of the 1st battery of the 21st Artillery Brigade in memory of the 100th anniversary

The original regimental badge is in very good collector's condition. The sign is made of bronze by stamping, followed by gilding and patination. The surface has a noble deep color and a characteristic noble touch of time.

The composition of the sign is an artillery granada with a detailed flame bursting upward, superimposed on two crossed cannon barrels. The central part is framed by a wreath of laurel and oak branches, tied at the bottom with a magnificent bow. The combined monograms of the Emperors Paul I and Nicholas Ii are artfully stamped on the body of the grenade. Nicholas II under the imperial crown, as well as relief inscriptions: "1 B." (1st battery) and "21 A. B." (21st Artillery Brigade). The commemorative dates of the centenary of the division are marked in a semicircle along the lower edge: "1796-1896".

There is a pronounced counter-relief on the reverse of the sign. The original mounting pin (screw) is installed in the center. A native round pressure plate (backing) is included. The plate clearly bears the mirror stamp of the famous St. Petersburg jewelry company EDUARD, the official supplier of the Imperial Orders Chapter. The thread on the pin is intact, the mounting nut is missing.

A rare and very interesting piece from the reign of Nicholas II, which is of great interest to collectors of Russian regimental cavalry and the history of artillery.
