Bronze, patina, stamping. The original medal on the bow for women in excellent condition. On the obverse wearing a wreath of oak branches, placed the image of the cross with the letter "V" In the center, on the upper beam the image of a crown. On the reverse a cross with the arms of Saxony in the Central medallion; between the rays cross the image of Shamrock and the inscription on the edge of the coin "FÜR 1914/15 VERDIENST IM KRIEGE" ( "For merit in war 1914/15"). The Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen (Herzogtum Sachsen-Meiningen) is another small Saxon Duchy, which was on the territory of modern Thuringia.
