In the center is a white round medallion with the inscription "EXCELLENT SOLDIER of the ZHELDORSKY TROOPS" and a golden hammer and sickle. At the bottom is a special emblem of the military branch — a crossed hammer and a wrench, an anchor and wings. A red star is superimposed on top.
