The original magazine is in good collector's condition. The cover depicts the moment of preparation for a combat mission at one of the airfields of the Southern Front. In the foreground, aerial bombs are visible, which are being prepared for suspension on a Soviet high-speed bomber SB (ANT-40). Headline: "The 61st week of the Holy Patriotic War" (the countdown has been running since the beginning of the invasion on June 22, 1941). The issue was published in the midst of the heaviest defensive battles of 1942 in the southern direction, including during the Battle for the Caucasus and the initial stage of the Battle of Stalingrad. The cover shows the SB, the main Soviet front—line bomber of the pre-war period, which continued to be actively used in the first half of the Great Patriotic War. The picture on the cover was taken by war correspondent D. Baltermants. The format is 270*340 mm. Black and white illustrations. Minor damage to the root. Complete set. Guarantee of authenticity.
