Boyko is wearing a winter camouflage coat, armed with a Shpagin submachine gun (PPSh-41). According to the caption under the photo, the young scout had personally destroyed more than 30 opponents by the time of publication. Before joining the unit, he was a scout in one of the partisan detachments. The picture was taken by photojournalist M. Groisman. Paperback. Black and white illustrations. Guarantee of authenticity.
Ogonek is a Russian and Soviet socio-political, literary and artistic illustrated weekly magazine. The magazine was published in Moscow from 1923 to 2021.
