Propaganda postcard "Fly the furthest, tallest, fastest", 1939.

A rare original Soviet propaganda postcard in excellent collector's condition. It was released in 1939 with a circulation of 100,000 copies and is dedicated to the triumphant achievements of Soviet aviation in the era of the conquest of the sky by Stalin's falcons.

The front side features a highly artistic lithographic composition. The upper part depicts a red-star high-speed aircraft with the inscription "USSR", rapidly flying over the globe. On the globe itself, the routes of the legendary ultra-long non-stop flights made by Soviet pilots on ANT-25 and TSKB-30 aircraft are laid out in detail in red lines. The markings on the map are clearly legible: Chkalov flight, Gromov flight, as well as the eastern routes of Kokkinaki. The famous Soviet aviation slogan, which became the motto of Russian aeronautics, is placed at the bottom of the postcard: "Fly the furthest, highest, fastest."

The reverse side is clean, has not been through the mail, and has a standard "Where to" label. / To" and the "Place for stamp" field. There is a duplication of the inscription "Postcard" in the international language of Esperanto ("POŜTA KARTO"), which is typical for the pre-war period. The full output data is written in the lower part: artist M. Nesterova, editor N. Bolberg, authorized representative of Glavlit No. A-14006, price 15 kopecks, circulation 100,000 copies. The printing method is specified — chromolithography of the publishing house "Art", Moscow, 1939, order No. 90.

A vivid, characteristic example of pre-war Soviet visual agitation and the iconic style of the "Stalinist Empire". An excellent exhibit in the collection on the history of Soviet aviation (Red Army / Air Force), pre-war philocarty or Stalinist propaganda.

Excellent collectible preservation for a paper artifact over 85 years old. The postcard has no strong creases, tears or traces of restoration. There are minimal natural rounded corners and a noble even temporary shade of paper (patina), emphasizing the authenticity of the object. On the right side of the back there is a neat archival note by the collector in pencil.
