The sign was approved on 12.06.1911. Silver oxidized wreath of laurel and oak branches. A silver oxidized double-headed eagle is superimposed on the wreath. The eagle has the coat of arms of Simbirsk on its chest. The bottom of the wreath is tied with a ribbon in the shape of a bow.. The eagle is crowned with a golden Imperial crown. To the left of the bow on the wreath is the golden monogram of Emperor Alexander I, crowned with the Imperial Crown. On the right is the monogram of Emperor Nicholas II, crowned with a golden Imperial crown. The Roman numeral "C" is located under the eagle. The cross above the crown and the screw are missing. Guarantee of authenticity The Simbirsk Infantry Regiment was formed in Moscow on October 19, 1811 from 2 companies of the Uglitsky Infantry, 3 companies Moscow, 2 companies of the Arkhangelsk and 1 companies of the Kazan garrison regiments.
