Book E. Tryndina "Optical and mechanical companies of Russia of the XIX – early XX century"

This scientific publication recreates the history of 24 private domestic optical and mechanical companies (such as the legendary Moscow enterprises F. Shvabe", "E. S. Tryndin's Sons" and others). The research is based on instruments, instruments and archival materials preserved in the collections of the Polytechnic Museum.
