Bronze, stamping. The medal was established in 1881 and was awarded for outstanding services to the Bulgarian nation and the crown. Obverse (obverse side): The profile of the reigning monarch Ferdinand I is depicted, with an inscription in Bulgarian around the circumference: "FERDINAND I TSAR OF Bulgaria" (Ferdinand I Tsar of the Bulgarians). Reverse (reverse side): in the center is the inscription "FOR MERIT" (For merits) in two lines, surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves tied with a ribbon, and a five-pointed star at the bottom (this side is not visible in the image, but is standard for the medal). The reward is on the original shoe. Initially, the medal was awarded on a crimson ribbon, but later it was approved to use the ribbon of the Order of Bravery (red) for services during the war and on the battlefield. Excellent condition. A rare type of "tape down". Guarantee of authenticity.
