The original. |
The original and quite a rare slasher in good collectible condition. Blade steel, straight, single-edge, flat, no valleys, on the butt saw; the end of the combat round. Efes consists of a handle and crosses. The handle is bone, with longitudinal grooves, tapered shape. The pommel is brass, notched, made in the form of fire helmets (?). Cross brass, shaped, with raised ends, made in the form of floral scrolls. Under the cross is a decorative shield, of oval form, decorated with floral ornaments and flower in the oval. Leather scabbard with brass device consisting of a mouth with fixed clip and tip with a ball.
Item is in good collectible condition. Surface corrosion on the blade. Temporary patina and scuffs on the sheath.
