Cockade on the cap of the staff of the USSR Prosecutor's office of the 1954 model

The original cockade is in excellent condition. Bronze, enamel, silvering, gilding. It was introduced by order of the Prosecutor General of the USSR No. 176 dated September 25, 1954: "A metal gilded emblem with a frame in the form of oak leaves is attached to the rim of the cap. The emblem of the judicial authorities of the established pattern – a shield with swords – is superimposed on a corrugated convex oval made of silver-colored metal. The emblem – shield and swords – is golden in color. The inner shield is finished with ruby-red enamel. The height of the oval with the emblem is 19 mm, the width of the oval is 16 mm. The oval is superimposed on a wreath of golden-colored oak leaves and crowned with a red enamel five-pointed star. The total height of the emblem for the headdress is 35 mm, the width is 28 mm. Two metal legs are soldered on the reverse side. The emblem is reinforced with a puncture in the center of the band of the cap or the forehead of the hat with earflaps." Guarantee of authenticity.
