Bronze, gilding, enamel, stamping. A round sign decorated with golden laurel and oak branches. The symbols of Soviet construction projects are depicted on a blue enamel background — a construction crane, poles of power lines (transmission lines) and pipes of factories. On the upper red ribbon it says: "Central Committee of the Komsomol." On the white round edge there is an inscription: "To the LEADER OF NEW BUILDINGS." At the very bottom of the red ribbon is added: "FIVE-year plans." In the lower part, in the center, there is a large golden Roman numeral "VI", which indicates the number of the five-year plan. Guarantee of authenticity.
This is an honorary award of the Komsomol, which was awarded to young workers for their labor achievements. The Sixth Five-year Plan (1956-1960) was a time of large-scale industrial construction in the USSR, the construction of new factories, power plants and mines. It was established by the Plenum of the Central Committee of the Komsomol in December 1956. It was awarded to Komsomol members who greatly distinguished themselves on construction sites, exceeded production plans and helped the development of the national economy of the USSR.
