The NKSP of the USSR managed the country's shipbuilding industry from January 11, 1939 to February 15, 1946. The main task of the People's Commissariat during the Great Patriotic War and in the pre-war years was the construction and repair of warships for the Navy.The badge was approved by the order of the NKSP No. 141 dated June 30, 1942 and was awarded until the liquidation of the People's Commissariat in 1946.
