Badge "Excellent student P.V.O." complete with a native nut

The original Soviet military badge of excellence from the famous "Ukazovskaya" series. The item is in very good, honest collector's condition, without restorations and interventions. The badge is made of brass by high-quality stamping, covered with hot enamels (ruby red and white) and gilding. The surface retains the bright colors of the enamel without chips and cracks, as well as a beautiful natural patina.

The composition of the sign is a figured shield superimposed on a gilded oak wreath. In the upper part there is a round medallion, covered with ruby-red enamel, with an overlay gilded symbol of the USSR — a sickle and a hammer. The medallion is bordered by a white enamel belt with a clear gilt inscription "EXCELLENT STUDENT P.V.O.", divided by a five-pointed star at the bottom. In the lower part of the shield, the emblem of the air defense forces is depicted on a red enamel background — an anti-aircraft gun in the rays of searchlights.

There is a deep pronounced counter-relief on the reverse of the sign. The original mounting pin (screw) is installed in the center. The main advantage of this lot is the presence of a native, authentic clamping nut (twist) made of dark metal with a clear embossed brand of the manufacturer: "M.T.H." (Moscow Association of Artists). The threads on the pin and nut are intact, the screw has not been shortened, the twist moves gently and holds tightly. The nut is covered with a deep "age-old" patina and oxides, confirming the originality of the object.

A wonderful piece of furniture in full native configuration, which will be a worthy addition to the collection of Soviet military faleristics from the period of the Great Patriotic War and the first post-war years.
