The original magazine is in good collector's condition. The cover depicts a mortar Komsomol crew under the command of junior political officer N. Koshulko, firing at the enemy in the area Voronezh. According to the caption, the calculation destroyed 7 enemy mortars, 3 fortified points and more than 150 Nazis in the area. The author of the picture is photojournalist P. Kozlov. In the summer of 1942, fierce fighting took place in the Voronezh region. The city was of strategic importance, as it divided the front line into two parts; the right bank was occupied, and Soviet troops defended the left bank. The format is 270*340 mm.
