The original magazine is in good collector's condition. The cover depicts the commander of the 496th anti-tank Fighter Artillery Regiment, Senior Sergeant Veniamin Andreevich Sidorov. Veniamin Sidorov began his career as a gunner under Stalingrad. By the time of the shooting (June—July 1943), he already had 13 enemy tanks destroyed and destroyed. On August 17, 1943 (just three days before the release of this issue), in a battle near the village of Kachalovka, Kharkiv region, Senior Sergeant Sidorov single-handedly repelled an attack by 24 enemy tanks when the rest of the crew was out of action. He was wounded, but continued to fire until the last and died in this battle. For his bravery and heroism, Veniamin Andreevich Sidorov was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union on September 21, 1943. Guarantee of authenticity.
