The original magazine is in good collector's condition, the pages are creased. The volume is 6 pages. The military department of the NGO of the USSR. Guarantee of authenticity.
The magazine "Frontline Illustration" not only reflected the course of hostilities, but also conveyed the mood of the whole country, leading a bloody battle with a deadly enemy — Hitler's troops. From the pages, the heroes of the battles with the fascist barbarians looked at the readers: infantrymen, tankers, pilots, gunners, sailors... The samples of military equipment caught in the lens of front-line operators inspired confidence in the power of the Red Army and the inevitability of Victory. The best artists and poets of the USSR participated in the design of the "Front Illustration". Large images, short texts — this was the most vivid and lucid chronicle of events. The "Frontline Illustration", which was published in large editions, was read by soldiers on the front line, wounded in hospitals, and workers in the rear. And, importantly, German prisoners of war, some of whom repented of their crimes and eventually joined the anti-fascist forces. And so it was until July 1945, when the magazine changed its name to a more peaceful one — the Red Army Illustrated Newspaper.
