A rather rare and interesting lot of items purchased directly from the admiral's family. The lot includes:
3. A selection of photos of the rear Admiral, including the rarest portrait shot with a naval saber. – B.M., [L.], [1926-1951]. – 6 f.; 16x10.7 cm. – 39.2x29.3 cm. – Gelatin-silver prints. Four photos are pasted on a cardboard passepartout, one on a cardboard backing of the German company Agfa. Slight scuffs and creases in some pictures, a small tear along the edge of one of the photos. Scuffs and slight contamination of the passepartout, creases. The remains of paper on one of the substrates. On the back of two passepartout are the inscriptions of Korenev's students. The selection includes: a group photo of Korenev with the destroyer crew "Shahumyan" (he was his commanding officer in 1926-1927), pictures in uniform (including in the ceremonial uniform of the supreme command of the Navy, judging by the awards not earlier than 1945, with a broadsword), two graduation photos with a photomontage (Naval School named after M.V. Frunze, 1936; VOLSOK of the Navy, 1951).
Konstantin Yulianovich Korenev (1900-1975) - Rear Admiral (since 1940), in the Navy since 1920. He studied at the Naval Academy. Mobilized to serve in the White Army, did not participate in the battles against the Red Army. He held various positions at the M.V. Frunze Naval School. During the Great Patriotic War, Korenev was the chairman of the commission that selected the mobilized vessels of the sea and river fleets, controlled the equipment and the order of service on these vessels. He commanded the Kronstadt Naval Base (August-September 1941), then was Deputy Chief of the Navy Combat Training Department and Chief of the Higher Order of Lenin Special Classes of Naval Officers (VOLSOK). Retired since 1956 .
