An extremely rare tunic, originally lined with insignia. The "Regulations on the uniform of the generals of the Red Army", introduced by order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR No. 373 dated October 25, 1940, provided for this type of summer clothing for the generals of the Red Army: "In summer, it is allowed to wear a cap with a white cover with a white tunic, in winter — a papakha. A double-breasted steel-colored overcoat; a khaki tunic or a white tunic; light blue breeches or trousers for graduation from Boston in dark blue; boots, boots, gloves and spurs (to whom they belong)." The tunic is made of soft white cotton fabric, has a clasp with 5 large buttons and a coat of arms with 11 ribbons. An interesting feature of the tailoring is that the distance between the bottom buttons is 2 cm shorter than the distance between all the others, which may be explained by the owner's physique. The size is about 50. The tunic is originally lined with the insignia of the General of the Red Army Air Force of the 1940 model, and the buttonholes are removable and fastened with a button, hook and loop on the collar. The button on one buttonhole is lost. On the chest, the marks of the orders that stood there earlier are clearly visible, and probably the star of the Hero of the Soviet Union, which is replaced by a copy today. Guarantee of authenticity. A museum-level rarity!
