An original and very interesting Red Army Air Force cadet tunic in very good condition. Tunics made of dark blue cloth began to actively appear in The Air Force in the middle of 1934, despite the fact that there was no order to introduce them. This violation was facilitated by the fact that the semi-coarse cloth, intended for sewing trousers to everyday uniforms, was also dark blue and was sometimes given out for the entire suit (trousers and shirt) at once. Cases of sewing uniform sets entirely from dark blue cloth were widespread, both for individual orders and for collective procurement, carried out, as a rule, by military educational institutions for their cadets. The material of the tunic, a dark blue (almost black) wool diagonal, which was used, as a rule, for sewing breeches of the rank and file of the Red Army, speaks about belonging to the cadets. The size is approximately 48. The collar of the tunic has Red Army Air Force buttonholes mod. 1928 with "birds" mod. 1922. One of the buttonholes with traces of restoration. The belt is not included. Guarantee of authenticity.
