The original sign is in excellent undelivered condition. Stamp gloss. In the original cardboard case. The sign is an oval shield of red enamel with a silver-colored sword with a golden hilt superimposed on it. A gilded hammer and sickle are superimposed on the sword in the center of the sign. In the lower part of the sign along the golden—colored rim of the shield is a ribbon of red enamel with the inscription in the central part "MIA". On the reverse side, the award number is 25345. Guarantee of authenticity. Rare.
At the end of 1947, the name of the badge "Honored Worker of the NKVD" changed. Now it was the sign "Honored Worker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs", and the abbreviation "NKVD" was replaced on it by "MIA". It turned out that he ceased to be a reward for security officers and remained a departmental badge of honor in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For state security workers, a new badge of honor was introduced only in 1957, and until that time, MGB–KGB employees were encouraged with cash prizes, gifts and nominal honorary weapons. In the 60s, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was temporarily transformed into the MOO, during this period the sign "Honored Worker of the MOO" was issued, then after the reverse transformation into the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the sign "Honored Worker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" was issued again, and the numbering on the entire series of signs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs-MOO-MVD was uniform.
