An original and extremely rare sign in excellent collector's condition. Silver, enamel. Dimensions 48.7 ×29.4 mm. The preservation is very good, the enamel is original, beautiful patina. "Signs of law enforcement agencies of the USSR" # 3.7.b. On the reverse of the sign at the top is engraved the number: "347". Guarantee of authenticity.
In 1936, the Presidium of the CEC of the USSR established the badge "The Best fire protection worker". Initially, the sign was with a star without enamel and 7 ribbons on the Coat of Arms of the USSR. In 1937, after the adoption of the Stalinist Constitution of the USSR, in which 11 union republics were proclaimed, the sign underwent a change, and previously issued signs were replaced with new ones. The star on the sign has become enameled and the number of ribbons on the coat of arms is 11. In subsequent years, the names of the department and the number of ribbons on the Coat of Arms of the USSR changed on the sign.
