"Ready for PVHO" - (anti-aircraft and chemical defense of the USSR). This badge was established in 1935 at the request of the Central Council of Osoaviakhim. To receive the badge, a member of the Osoaviakhim had to be a drummer in production and actively work on air and chemical defense in his home, factory, plant, collective farm, school, institution. In addition, the recipient had to pass all the "Ready for PVHO" standards and have his own serviceable gas mask. The sign had 2 degrees. As with the “Voroshilov shooter”, in order to get the second degree, it was necessary to pass the complicated standards. Badges of the second degree have the number "2". Due to the fact that these badges were produced in different factories in very large quantities, they come in a wide variety of sizes (from 25 to 40 mm horizontally). The vertical dimensions depend on the length of the chains. In addition, there are badges made in the form of a suspension on a block in the shape of a small plane, but there is another type of badge - without a block. These badges are smaller in comparison with the usual one, and also come across both the first stage and the second.
