Porcelain, decal. Gorodnitsky Porcelain Factory (USSR). The sculptor Tamara Tokarenko. The height is about 21-22 cm. The statuette is made in the characteristic style of socialist realism. She portrays a pioneer girl in a dynamic pose. She is kneeling on one knee and holding a model glider (airplane) in her hands. With her other hand, the pioneer woman shields her eyes from the sun, gazing into the sky and following the flight of her aircraft designer with her eyes. The figure vividly reflects the spirit of the Soviet era and the popularity of aircraft modeling among young people in the 1930s. The statuette is intact, and the airframe is also intact. Rare. Guarantee of authenticity.
