An extremely rare find of our store is a silver one "book", decorated in an individual leather case. Apparently, it was used as a bribe. Size 190*140*22 mm, weight 1233 grams. The brand of the Vilna assay district. Silver, gilding, casting, engraving. Scratches, scuffs, traces of oxidation. Loss of one of the monogram fasteners "WU" to the top the "binding" cover. The "book" is enclosed in an all-leather case with an embossed top cover "V.U. 19 1/V. 26". Scuffs and minor skin loss, skin loss on the spine is undercut, scratches, crack on the spine. Inside the case is upholstered in silk. Scuffs and slight contamination of silk. The lower part of the tape used to extract the product is torn off and enclosed in a case. The "book" was intended for a gift To Vladimir Kazimirovich Ushkevich (1892-?), apparently, to the head of the Borisov branch of Lesbel (State Association of Forestry, Export and Woodworking Industry of the BSSR). Judging by the text engraved inside "books", Ushkevich was promoted and two of his employees prepared such an unusual farewell gift for him. On the top "bookbinding" cover, "page" with text and on the back "books" are engraved with the stigma: the stigma of the Vilna assay district (in the oval, a female head in a cocoanut, facing to the right; to the left of it is the letter "π", to the right is a digit "84") and the mark of the master "IC." On sawn- off shotguns "books" – three stamps with a girl's head in a cocoon and two dots on the left. Guarantee of authenticity.
