Varvara Rodchenko was born in 1925. She studied first under the guidance of her father, Alexander Rodchenko, then at the 1905 College, from where she moved to the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. Member of the Union of Journalists and the Moscow Union of Artists. Together with her husband Nikolai Lavrentiev, she worked in Soviet publishing houses on the design of books and posters. In the field of photography, she is known for her experiments with collage and installation, continuing the traditions laid down by constructivists, and, above all, by the famous father of the artist.
