The original front-line secret letter, published in Moscow in 1944. The publishing house "Voenizdat NPO", commissioned by the Military Book Trade, the printing house of the newspaper "Pravda". The form was sent in October 1944 from the active army to liberated Kharkov, as indicated by the calendar postmark of the field post. The letter contains an official purple verification stamp: "Reviewed by military censorship" with the censor's personal number 30652. The slogan "Death to the German occupiers!", which is mandatory for military correspondence, is printed in the upper part.The letterhead's decoration is based on the patriotic series of the Military Edition, celebrating the successes of the Red Army. The lower part is illustrated with a graphic drawing "Up the Odessa stairs", dedicated to the liberation of Odessa in the spring of 1944.
