The postcard "Golden flower. Krasnaya Yagodka is an example of Soviet propaganda during the Civil War in Russia. Of Russia. It was created by artist Dmitry Moor (Orlov), a famous Soviet cartoonist and master of propaganda posters.
The postcard consists of two parts, which depict the contrast between a capitalist/bourgeois and a representative of the working class:
"Golden Flower": The left half depicts an obese, caricatured capitalist watering a pot from which a flower grows. This symbolizes the bourgeoisie's concern for their own well-being and the accumulation of capital.
"Red Berry": The right half shows a worker (or peasant) dressed in a Red Army uniform in motion, waving or pouring red paint over what is left of the flower, turning it into a "red berry". It symbolizes a revolutionary action aimed at overthrowing the capitalist system and establishing Soviet power.
Artist: D. Moore (Dmitry Stahievich Orlov). The State Publishing House (GIZ) of the RSFSR. The print run of the postcard is unknown. I went through the mail. Pollution. Guarantee of authenticity.
