A postcard called "Eagle. Tails. The Social-compromising game" is an example of Soviet propaganda during the Civil War. It was created by a famous graphic artist. Dmitry Moore (Orlov), who is considered the founder of the Soviet political poster.
The postcard is satirical in nature and is intended to ridicule the so-called "social compromisers" (Mensheviks, Socialist Revolutionaries and other moderate socialists) who tried to reconcile the interests of the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. The image consists of two parts, like two sides of a coin ("Heads" and "Tails"), demonstrating the duplicity of the policy of compromise.:
"Eagle": The Bourgeois (capitalist) is depicted as a suffering figure who is mourned by the working class, hinting that under social compromise the bourgeoisie receives sympathy and support.
"Tails": The same bourgeois is depicted as alive and prosperous, while the working class finds itself in a subordinate and exploited position.
Artist: D. Moore (Dmitry Stahievich Orlov).
Publishing house: The State Publishing House of the RSFSR.
The print run of the postcard is unknown. Yellowing of the paper. Guarantee of authenticity.
