Badge "To the drummer of 1932, completing the five-year plan" No. 030239

An original and quite rare sign in very good condition. Bronze, silvering, enamel. The sign has a vertical oval shape, framed by wheat ears and oak leaves (symbols of labor and perseverance). There is a Hammer and Sickle in the upper part. In the center, under a white enamel ribbon, there are bas-reliefs of V. I. Lenin and I. V. Stalin (the profiles are turned to the left). Above is the inscription "To the drummer of 1932, completing the five-year plan." The dates "1917-1932" are stamped under the bas-reliefs on the background of the red banner. A pressure plate and a twist are included. Guarantee of authenticity.

One of the most famous and prestigious Soviet departmental awards of the era of the first five-year plans. It was awarded to leading workers who showed exceptional labor valor and helped to complete the first five-year plan of the USSR (1928-1932) ahead of schedule under the slogan "Five-year plan in 4 years!" The award was timed to coincide with the successful completion of the first five-year plan and at the same time to the XV anniversary of the October Revolution (1917-1932), which is directly reflected in the symbolism of the sign.  The silver badge was issued in a circulation of only about 10,000 copies. It was made of silver of the 916th or 875th grade using hot enamel. The serial number must be stamped on the reverse. It is rare and highly appreciated by collectors. The more widespread circulation in bronze is about 53,000 copies. It was made of bronze (or tompak) with silvering and enameling.
