An original and quite rare medal, which is considered one of the very first commemorative and award medals of the Soviet era (RSFSR). The medal was made on The Petrograd Mint according to the sketches of the outstanding Soviet medallist A. F. Vasyutinsky. In the center of the obverse is a full-length blacksmith worker with a rifle slung over his shoulder. In his right hand he holds a hammer lowered onto an anvil. A five-pointed star and factory pipes are visible in the background. On the right edge, in a semicircle, there is an inscription: "Proletarians of all countries, unite!" In the center of the reverse is a hammer and sickle with the inscription "R.S.F.S.R." and the dates "1917-1920." The awards were issued in two metals — in silver (about 3,000 copies for participants of the solemn meeting of the Petrograd Soviet) and in bronze / tompack (about 400 copies for the organizers of the celebrations). Guarantee of authenticity.
