The original sign is in excellent condition. Bronze, enamel, gilding. The sign is made in the form of an open dome of a white parachute, against which a twin-engine aircraft is depicted. In the upper part there is a red five-pointed star with a hammer and sickle. A removable pendant (often called a "drop" by collectors) in the shape of a diamond with the number "1" is attached to the bottom of the main badge.
