Silver without stamps. Excellent collector's condition. In the center of the sign, a woodworking worker is depicted working at a machine tool against the background of a factory building with smoking chimneys. A stylized inscription in Old Slavonic script is stamped in the center — "PSRD". In the upper part there are Soviet symbols — a crossed sickle and hammer, as well as the letters "P.S.S.R." (Professional Union of Soviet Workers). Below are the crossed tools of traditional manual labor — an axe and a two-handed saw. Rare. Guarantee of authenticity.

The Union of Woodworking Workers was formed in 1918. In 1922, the organization received its official name — the Professional Union of Woodworking Workers. It existed in this form until 1930, when, during a large-scale reorganization of the Soviet trade union system, it was merged with representatives of the forestry industry. This badge was issued to skilled workers, factory foremen, and union activists.
