The book "European cold Steel" covers the period from the middle of the 17th to the end of the 20th century. It is designed in such a way as to give an overview of the main groups and types of cold weapons used in Europe since the creation of the first regular armies. The main source base for this purpose was the collection of cold steel from the Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineering and Communications Troops in St. Petersburg, celebrating its 300th anniversary in 2003, as well as naval cold steel and cutlasses from a private collection. The book can be used as a determinant, since it highlights and describes the features inherent in cold weapons of the period under review. Volume 496 pages . Safety – used.
