Sports titles and categories were assigned according to Position about Uniform all-Union sports classification (uausc). In order to get one or the other category, the athlete had to meet certain discharge requirements and standards, and to fully deliver the standards of all-Union sports complex TRP.

The sporting level is awarded only on the basis of the results shown in competitions, provided scheduling and conducted according to the rules approved by the Committee on physical culture and sports of the USSR, and the programs approved by the relevant organizations.
