The format is 20*13 cm. In seven semi-leather owner's bindings with bandages and gold embossed on the spines. Triple torched sawn-off shotguns. Ornamented flyleafs. Lasse. In vol. 5, rare owner's marks in pencil. In excellent condition.
Alexey Mikhailovich Laptev (1905-1965) was a Soviet graphic artist and book illustrator, poet. Pyotr Mikhailovich Boklevsky (1816-1897) was a Russian illustrator. Evgeny Adolfovich Kibrik (1906-1978) — Soviet painter, graphic artist, illustrator, teacher. The collection of works by N.V. Gogol includes all his artistic works, the main part of his journalism and selected letters. Each volume is accompanied by a historical and literary commentary.
