Vladimir Alexandrovich Galberstadt (pseudonym Galb, 1908-1984) was a cartoonist, graphic artist, animalist, master of political caricature, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. During the years of the blockade, his cartoons were published on the pages of Leningradskaya Pravda almost every day. Hitler blacklisted the artist as a personal enemy. The best works of the wartime artist were included in the album "Blitz Creek" and "Fritz Howl", released in 1944.
