A lot of books and documents from the archive of the famous artist V. P. Krivoruchko

Quite an interesting collection of books and documents from the family archive and library painter and graphic artist Vasily p. Krivoruchko (1919-1994 years) — honored worker of culture of the RSFSR (1979 ), winner of Sergey of Radonezh (1992 ), honorary citizen of Voronezh (1993 ). All books have a library stamp of the artist. The lot also includes two invitations to various exhibitions and a figure oil on cardboard, probably belonging to the artist. V. P. Krivoruchko was born on 10 August 1919 in the village of Novo-sandy (now the Altai Krai). Altai large family of the future artist fled from hunger, but the hope of finding a better life did not materialize. Earnings of father barely enough to make ends meet, so in 1926 the family Krivoruchko returned to their hearth and home — in Donetsk. In 1946 he continued his studies at the Moscow state pedagogical Institute, art-graphic Department. Soon he moved to Transcarpathia, Mukachevo, where he continued painting. His mentor was the famous artist J. G. Virag, who once studied in Munich and Paris, and soon the work of Krivoruchko received recognition at regional and Republican exhibitions. Participated in art exhibitions from 1937. In Voronezh, lived from 1951. In the 1950s, following the trends of the time, he wrote a lot on "industrial themes". Then there are his well-known paintings as "Voronezh — construction projects of communism", "Construction of Novovoronezh nuclear power plant"... at the same time he was active in social work: sat in the city Council, headed by the art Fund and the Voronezh branch of the Union of artists of the RSFSR, was elected a member of the artists Union of the USSR (1952). However, the ideological frame was close to Vasily Pavlovich. His major works — historical cycles: "Voronezh ship", "My Russia", "On Kulikovo field". In addition, Vasily Pavlovich created historical cycles "We are Russian people", "the protection of the Motherland", "Thistle Lit the fire." Just Krivoruchko created a series of works based on trips to Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa. Vasily Pavlovich also known as an active campaigner for the preservation of monuments of history and culture. Works of V. P. Krivoruchko are in the Museum of history of Moscow, Tula Museum of fine arts, Vladimir historical and art Museum-reserve, Pskov Museum-reserve, Krasnodar fine arts Museum, the Novosibirsk art gallery and in other Russian museums and in private collections in Finland, Sweden, Belgium, the Czech Republic and the USA. From 1969 to 2000, has issued more than 40 albums and catalogs of the artist, including issued three sets of postcards with reproductions of his works.
