Original photo, taken probably with a hidden identity, in very good condition. Verso signed "Ilya Savvich Vasylkivska". With this signature, we found out that the person in 1941 was the chief of the supply service of the infamous of the 20th mechanized corps, completely dead in the defense of Minsk. Details of the tragedy of the 20th mechanized corps and, in particular, of the 38th armored division, are still unsettled. Staff documents were lost. Somehow it was reported that some of them found many years later buried in Chesscom district, Mogilev region. What miracle had managed to save Ilya Savvich, history is silent.
