Description

A beautiful artistic picture taken by the hand of the most famous Soviet photographer – the author of the famous picture "The Banner of Victory over By the Reichstag" by Evgeny Khaldei (1916-1997). The photo was taken during Chaldea's participation in the Nuremberg trials as a photojournalist, where his photographs were one of the physical evidence. Pictures of authorship Evgeny Ananyevich's prints are extremely rare, authentic prints are always highly sought-after lots at any auction, and personal items sell for tens of thousands of dollars (for example, in 2014 his Watering Can was sold at a Bonhams auction for 200 thousand dollars). Size 235* 165 mm. The reverse side has a TASS tag. Guarantee of authenticity.

Roman Andreyevich Rudenko (Ukrainian: Roman Andriyovich Rudenko; July 25 (August 7), 1907[1][2], Nosovka, Nezhinsky district, Chernigov province, Russian Empire — January 23, 1981, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR) was a Soviet statesman, Active State Adviser of Justice (1953), Prosecutor General USSR (1953-1981), Hero of Socialist Labor (1972), member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (since 1961). He was a member of the special troika of the NKVD of the USSR, a participant in mass repressions. The main prosecutor from the USSR at the Nuremberg trials. He headed the investigation team in the case of Lavrenty Beria. During the period of Stalinism, he was an active participant in the Stalinist repressions, and during the "thaw" he was one of the initiators of the rehabilitation of victims of political repression. From June 26, 1941 to 1942, he was the head of the Department of the USSR Prosecutor's Office for the supervision of the RKM authorities. Since 1942 — Deputy Prosecutor of the Ukrainian SSR, in 1944-1953 — Prosecutor of the Ukrainian SSR. The main prosecutor from the USSR at the Nuremberg trials in 1945-1946. In 1945, he was part of the trial of the leaders of the Polish resistance movement, the Trial of the Sixteen. He was the commandant of the NKVD's "Special Camp No. 7", in which at least 12,000 of the 60,000 prisoners died due to poor conditions of detention, torture, starvation, psychological and physical exhaustion.
