The cap of the command staff of the NKVD border troops, mod. 1935

An original and extremely rare cloth cap in good collector's condition. The stamp of the manufacturer, the Tula factory Revtrud, is perfectly readable. The cap consists of a hood and two sides. The hood is lined with cotton, and the sides are made of two layers of the main fabric. The edging is crimson, the frontal star is green, which indicates that the headdress belongs to the NKVD border troops. The enamel star is post-war. Size 57. Guarantee of authenticity. It was introduced by Order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR No. 176 dated December 3, 1935. It was abolished by Order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR No. 005 dated February 1, 1941.
