An extremely rare cap of the admirals of the Soviet Navy in excellent collector's condition. It was introduced by order of the People's Commissar of the Navy No. 45 of January 24, 1941. The cap is made of black woolen cloth. It consists of an oval bottom, a crown of four quarters, a band with a black turnip ribbon, a black leather visor. The visor is sewn in the form of edging and counter oak branches. On the edge of the bottom and the upper edge of the rim — white edging. Above the visor on the rim is attached an emblem and a cord embroidered with a rope. On April 27 , 1945 , by Order of the NKVD of the USSR No. 178 , changes were made to the caps of the highest officers of the Navy: instead of a chin strap embroidered with gilded (silver-plated) piping, a braided cord made of gilded (silver-plated) trunzal is installed, which makes it possible to date the cap to the period 1941-45. On the bottom there is a dermatin overlay with the initials of the owner (?) – S.I.V. A cockade with a separate bay and a star, installed originally during production. Guarantee of authenticity. A rarity.
