The cap of the command staff of the NKVD border troops of the sample of 1935

A very rare cap in excellent collector's condition. It was introduced by Order of the People's Commissar of Internal Affairs of the USSR No. 399 dated December 27, 1935. The cap is cloth, with a green crown and a dark blue band. The lining of the cap is satin. The collar is made of dermatin. The front of the cap is straight, slightly convex, with a rigid stand, a metal frame is inserted inside. The visor of the cap is fiber, black, lacquered, elongated. Above the visor, a black chin strap is fastened to the yellow uniform brass buttons, which originally belonged to a German cap made in Cologne in 1939, judging by the stamp. There is a crimson edging along the upper edge of the band and crown. The cap is equipped with a 38 mm commander's star of the 1936 model with an overhead SIM. Size 56-57. Guarantee of authenticity.
