A sailor's cap of the Baltic Red Banner Fleet, mod. 1939, 1940.

The original pre-war cap is in excellent unworn condition. It is sewn from black instrument cloth. The crown consists of four parts (quartets) and a bottom. There are white edging along the edge of the bottom and the upper edge of the rim. On the band is a black ribbon with ends 35 cm long. At the ends of the ribbon are anchors of golden color. The manufacturer's stamp and the release date of the product – 1940 - are perfectly legible on the bottom. Size 56. Minor damage to the cloth from moths. It was introduced by order of the People's Commissar of the USSR Navy No. 426 dated October 20, 1939. Guarantee of authenticity.
