The cap of an employee of the Workers' and Peasants' Militia (RKM) of the 1940 model

A very rare cap in almost excellent collector's condition. The crown is sewn from a dark blue cotton fabric, which means that the cap belongs to the rank and file and junior officers of the RKM. The cloth band is dyed turquoise with an unstable dye, as a result of which it has faded somewhat. The edges are red. The cap is equipped with an extremely rare original star of the 1939 model, installed for wearing by order of the NKVD of the USSR No. 524 dated 08/16/1939. The stamp of the manufacturer, the Samoilova factory, is clearly visible on the bottom. Size 56. The cap was approved for wearing by RKM employees by order of the NKVD of the USSR No. 79 dated 02/8/1940. Guarantee of authenticity.
