Rina Green (real name Yekaterina Green; October 25 [November 7] 1901, Tashkent — April 1, 1991, Moscow) — Soviet actress of theatre and cinema, a variety actress, the wizard of imitation of children's speech. People's artist of the RSFSR (1970). In the sources there are different dates of birth of Rina Green; all agree only in the fact that she was born in Tashkent. He studied at the real school, when her father, Vasily Green, translated by the service from Tashkent to Moscow, Ekaterina entered the gymnasium von Derviz in Gorokhovsky lane. In 1919 he graduated from the Moscow theatre school. Then married lawyer Vladimir Blumenfeld, but they soon broke up because of irreconcilable differences. Her teachers were Illarion Pevtsov, Nikolai Radin, Maria Blumenthal-Tamarina. She started on stage as a professional singer, but then completely devoted himself to a theatrical career. Worked in theatres (1921) "the puppet show" (Petrograd), "Mole" (Odessa)[, "do Not weep" (Moscow).
In 1924, becoming an actress of the Moscow theater of satire. In 1928 goes to the troupe of the Theatre reviews in the press House. In 1930-e years he has performed on stage with stories about children, worked in radio. Her repertoire includes the poetry of Vladimir Mayakovsky, Agnes Barto, Samuil Marshak, Sergei Mikhalkov. During the great Patriotic war he participated in frontline artistic brigades, and in 1944 was awarded the order of the red Star.
In 1981 Rina Green wrote the autobiographical book "the Scattered pages", addressed to a wide circle of readers. The book includes a description of the creative world in which he lived with the actress with whom her fate and how it acted upon her as a creative person. In the book there are figures such as Arkady Raikin, Sergei Mikhalkov, the Lyubov Orlova, Korney Chukovsky and others. His unique and memorable voice of Rina Green voiced many cartoons.
Reena Green is always very serious about his awards. "If me and reward, so surely 40 minutes before death," she laughed. And so it happened. 1 April 1991 the USSR President issued a decree on awarding Rin Green title of people's artist of the USSR, but on the same day, a few hours later, Rina V. died from a malignant tumor. Move those documents not given. Lived in Moscow in the former tenement building of the First Russian insurance society (Kuznetsk Bridge, 21/5 — Bolshaya Lubyanka, 5/21). Buried in Moscow on Vvedenskoye cemetery, beside her husband, academician of architecture Konstantin Tikhonovich Topuridze.
