The founder of the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party (Bolsheviks), the organizer and leader of the October Revolution of 1917 in Russia, after which the Russian Civil War began, during which he initiated the policy of Red Terror, the ideologist and creator of the Third (Communist) International, the founder of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
