The picture shows one of the most famous pilots of the Red Army Air Force, Alexander Ivanovich Pokryshkin, and Guards Major I.P. Slavyansky, as well as 2 major generals of the Red Army against the background of the banner of the 1st Ukrainian Front. There are traces of pasting into the album on the back. Alexander Ivanovich Pokryshkin (March 6 (19), 1913, Novo-Nikolaevsk, Tomsk Province, Russian Empire — November 13, 1985, Moscow, USSR) was a Soviet military commander and ace pilot during the Great Patriotic War, Marshal of Aviation (1972). The first three times Hero of the Soviet Union (05/24/1943, 08/24/1943, 08/19/1944). Candidate member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1976-1985). Member of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (1979-1984). Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (1946-1984). Candidate of Military Sciences (1969), military pilot 1st class (1951). A. I. Pokryshkin was the second most effective fighter pilot (after Ivan Kozhedub) among the pilots of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition in World War II.
