Alexey Alexandrovich Yakovlev (March 29, 1923 — June 5, 1990) was a Soviet ground attack pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union (1946), participant in the Great Patriotic War as deputy squadron commander of the 208th Assault Aviation Regiment of the 227th Assault Aviation Division of the 8th Assault Aviation Corps of the 8th Air Army.- The Ukrainian Front, Captain. He was born on March 29, 1923 in Ufa, the capital of Bashkiria, into a working—class family. Russian. Graduated from 7th grade. He worked as a locksmith at the Ufa locomotive Repair plant.
