Ilya Filippovich Andrianov (August 3, 1918 — January 31, 1997) was a Soviet fighter pilot, participant of the Great Patriotic War, squadron commander of the 153rd Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment of the 12th Guards Fighter Aviation Division of the 1st Guards Assault Aviation Corps of the 5th Air Army of the 2nd Ukrainian Front, Guards Captain. Hero of the Soviet Union (08/19/1944), colonel of the reserve.
He was born on August 3, 1918 in the village of Kanishchevo (now a subdistrict of the city of Ryazan) in a peasant family. Russian. Member of the CPSU since 1942. He graduated from an incomplete secondary school and the school of the Federal Law on Communications in Ryazan. He worked at a factory and studied at an aero club. In the Red Army since 1940. In 1941, he graduated from the Bataisk Military Aviation School of Pilots. With the beginning of the Great Patriotic War at the front.
I. F. Andrianov won his first victory on November 29, 1941, attacking head-on and with a long burst through the cockpit of the He-111, which immediately entered a steep dive and disappeared in a cloud of powerful explosion seconds later ... In the winter of 1942, his "donkey" was overtaken by a cannon burst and literally crumbled on the run. Fortunately, the brave pilot remained alive and, despite his injuries, returned to combat work a few days later.… During the Battle of Kursk, he was appointed squadron commander. He fought in the skies over the Dnieper, Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Czechoslovakia and Germany.
Squadron commander of the 153rd Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment (12th Guards Fighter Aviation Division, 1st Guards Assault Aviation Corps, 5th Air Army, 2nd Ukrainian Front) of the Guards, Captain Ilya Andrianov, had flown 303 sorties by June 1944, and shot down 17 enemy aircraft in 65 air battles.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated August 19, 1944, Captain Ilya Filippovich Andrianov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star Medal (No. 4276) for exemplary performance of combat missions of the Command at the front of the struggle against the German invaders and his bravery and heroism.
In total, during the war years, I. F. Andrianov flew 386 combat sorties on I-16, LaGG-3 and Yak-3, in 77 air battles he shot down 21 enemy aircraft personally and 1 in a pair. After the war, the brave pilot continued to serve in the Soviet Air Force. He was the commander of an aviation regiment. He flew jet combat vehicles. Among the pilots of his regiment was Vladimir Komarov, later an outstanding Soviet cosmonaut. Since 1955, Colonel I. F. Andrianov has been in reserve.
He lived and worked in the city of Ryazan. He died on January 31, 1997. He was buried at the Skorbiaschenskoye cemetery.
